Transition Programs
Find out more about how our school can support your transition to school.
Ready, Set, Kinder
Our Ready, Set, Kinder transition program is designed to help your child get ready for 'big school' at Tumut Public School.
Running throughout the year, this program gently introduces your child to the school environment, helping them build confidence, make new friends, and become familiar with routines, classrooms, and staff.
Middle School Program
We work closely with our feeder high school, Tumut High School, to deliver a comprehensive Year 6 to Year 7 transition program.
This program helps your child feel more confident and prepared by familiarising them with the high school environment, teachers, and routines. It also supports their social and academic development, making the move smoother and setting them up for success in their new school.
